How quickly will my order ship?
We dispatch in-stock reels on the business day your payment reaches our account, if it arrives by 12 pm Sydney time. Payments that arrive after that, or on a weekend or public holiday, are dispatched the next business day.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery is priced on the total weight of your order, and the exact cost is shown at checkout before you pay. Delivery for a single 2mm reel starts at $84.70 + GST. The delivery page lists the price for every size.
Can I buy rope cut to length?
We sell full 1,000 m reels only, which is what keeps the price per metre low. If you need something different, ask for a quote and tell us about the job.
Do you offer trade or bulk pricing?
The prices on the site are the same for everyone, with no account needed. If you’re buying a larger quantity or want a regular supply, send us a quote request with the sizes and quantities and we’ll come back to you with a price.
Can I pay by invoice?
Yes. Choose invoice at checkout and we email you an invoice to pay by bank transfer, with your order number as the reference. Your reels ship as soon as the payment arrives, and there’s no trade account to apply for.
How heavy is a reel, and how do I unload it?
A full reel, including the reel itself, weighs about 27 kg for 2mm, 46.5 kg for 3mm, 98 kg for 5mm and 168 kg for 6mm. The 5mm and 6mm reels are too heavy to lift by hand, so have a forklift or tail-lift ready, and use the delivery instructions at checkout to tell the driver what’s on site.

We deliver by road freight to any address in Australia.
Should I choose galvanised or 316 stainless?
Galvanised rope is carbon steel with a zinc coating. It’s the stronger and more economical of the two, and it lasts well in most outdoor work.
316 stainless costs more, but it resists corrosion far better and keeps a bright finish. Choose it near the sea, around chemicals, or wherever rust stains would spoil the look.
What’s the difference between breaking load and working load?
The minimum breaking load is the force at which new rope breaks in a straight pull. To work out a safe working load, divide it by a design factor suited to the job; 5 is common for general use.
Fittings, bends and wear all reduce what a rope can carry, and anything used for lifting or to protect people should be specified by a competent person.
Can I return a reel?
If a reel is faulty or isn’t what you ordered, we’ll replace it or refund you and pay the return freight. If you change your mind, contact us first. We accept unused, undamaged reels returned within 30 days of delivery, with the return freight paid by you. The terms of sale have the details.
