This is 3mm galvanised wire rope in 7×19 construction, supplied as a full 1,000 m reel. Seven strands of nineteen fine wires make 7×19 flexible enough to run around pulleys, winch drums and tight corners without kinking.

About this rope
The steel is zinc coated to protect it outdoors, and the rope is made to ASTM A1023 with a tensile grade of 2,070 N/mm².
Its minimum breaking load is 907 kg (8.9 kN). For a working load, divide that by a design factor suited to the job, commonly 5, and allow for fittings, bends and wear.
